Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Zikra.cc ("Zikra", "we", "us") collects, why we collect it, and how it's used — both for couples who create a wedding account and for guests who use a wedding's camera link.

1. Information We Collect

From Account Holders (couples):

• Account email and password (used for sign-in)
• Bride and groom names, wedding date, venue name, and phone number
• Payment details you submit at checkout (plan selected, amount paid, and your Whish Money payment reference) so we can verify and activate your plan

From wedding guests:

• The name (or nickname) they enter before taking photos
• An optional short message left with their photos
• The photos they capture and choose to sync

We do not require guests to create an account, and we do not collect a guest's email or phone number to use Zikra's camera.

2. How We Use This Information

• To create and run your wedding gallery, including AI-assisted organization (blur detection, timestamp grouping, and face-search to help guests find photos of themselves)
• To verify payment and activate your plan
• To send account-related notifications (for example, letting an Account Holder know new photos have been synced)
• To provide customer support

We do not sell your personal information or your photos to third parties, and we do not use your photos for advertising.

3. Who Can See Your Photos

Photos synced to a wedding gallery are private by default and visible only to the Account Holder. The Account Holder controls whether to share a gallery link with others, and can hide or delete individual photos at any time. Zikra staff may access photos only as needed to provide support or investigate a report of misuse.

4. Where Your Data Is Stored

Photos and account data are stored using Supabase, our database and file-storage provider. Photos are retained for one year from the date of purchase, after which they may be removed unless you have downloaded your album.

5. Your Choices & Rights

• Account Holders can hide or permanently delete any individual photo from their gallery at any time.
• Account Holders can download their complete album as a ZIP file at any time during the storage period.
• To request deletion of your full wedding account and all associated photos, contact us at support@zikra.cc and we will process the request.
• Guests who wish to have a specific photo or message removed can ask the Account Holder directly, or contact us at the email above.

6. Payment Information

Zikra does not process card payments directly. Plans are currently paid via Whish Money, a mobile payment service — you send payment to our Whish number and submit your reference number at checkout. We retain only the reference and amount needed to confirm and reconcile your payment; we do not store your Whish Money account credentials.

7. Cookies & Analytics

We use the minimum technical cookies/session storage needed to keep you signed in and to remember your guest session while taking photos. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

8. Children's Privacy

Zikra is intended for use by adults planning or attending a wedding. We do not knowingly collect personal information from young children beyond a first name entered by a guest taking photos.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Zikra evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever we do.
